The basic philosophy of the hospital is care, concern and commitment

healing of the sick. It was in September 1985, the M.S.Ramaiah
Hospital was conceptualized and it became a reality exactly seven
months later. The hospital was the dream of the late Founder Chairman
M.S.Ramaiah who believed that if the hospital cannot help the
many who are poor in our society, there is no purpose in helping
the few who are rich. The hospital with a built-in area of 2,00,000
sq.ft. stands today as a true testimony of what one man can do,
if he dares to dream. The hospital incorporates a complete range
of state-of-the-art clinical equipment, diagnostic facilities
and amenities comparable to the best in the world.

The hospital caters to a large cross section of people, irrespective
of their economic status. It has competent and experienced doctors
who are ably supported by skilled and dedicated teams of nursing

In-Patient Facilities
The hospital has options of semi private and private wards, which
have 2 to 3 and single bed accommodation respectively. All the rooms
are well ventilated, spacious, well lit and extra care is taken
to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. There are 14 major operating
theatres ,which are fully equipped for all surgeries including specialized
Neurosurgery and Cardiothoracic surgery.
Multi-disciplinary intensive care units managed by highly qualified
doctors round the clock offer complimentary support. All major specialty
services are available for 24 hours. Two fully equipped ambulances
are available with trained Para-medical staff to deal with emergencies.
Laboratories
The hospital has a centralized Diagnostic Laboratory for Biochemistry,
Microbiology, Pathology, RIA Laboratory, Clinical immunology etc.
The licensed Blood Bank has facilities for blood component separation
